Do you have what it takes to be Australia’s next top SEM guru? Reckon you’re damn hot? We definitely want to talk to you. Just moderately gifted? Hell! We’ll talk to you too.

We’re seeking a pro that can take charge of managing our SEO/SEM services, track the results (and intelligently interpret them), keep clients and stakeholders updated, and undertake competitor analysis and site auditing, where required.

More than anything, we’re seeking someone with ideas and opinions, and the guts to challenge the ‘status quo’ if they think the situation calls for it. You won’t be required to reinvent the wheel, however if you see the opportunity to improve, enhance or innovate — go for it!

You will be well–versed in the online/digital space and be totally up–to–speed with the latest strategies, but we value ‘straight speaking’, so no ‘bullshit bingo’ and jargon please. Just say it like it is, and you’ll have our clients at ‘hello’.

As a smaller agency we are looking for a guru without the attitude, and someone who is prepared to roll–up their sleeves and collaborate on a wide–variety of projects. We’re a very ‘sharing is caring’ bunch.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop SEO and SEM strategies
  • Manage effective campaigns for August clients
  • Work closely with August developers and other key staff
  • Develop and implement processes and methodologies
  • Analyse and assess client websites with regards to SEO
  • Create and evaluate meta data
  • Collaborate on navigation and content oprganisation
  • Keep up–to–date with emerging, relevant trends in SEM
  • Apply measurability to campaigns and develop detailed and lucid reports

Skills Required

  • Currently employed in similar role in a digital agency or large corporate
  • A minimum of three year’s experience
  • Strong record executing successful SEO strategies
  • High–level of professionalism (this is a client–facing role)
  • Well–honed negotiating, liaison and analytical skills
  • CMS experience is highly regarded
  • Web copywriting skills are highly regarded
  • Passionate about the digital industry
