With more than 3 million customer accounts in Australia and the Pacific, Origin Energy is a major energy producer and retailer and a top 50 ASX listed company.
The Origin Energy marketing department recognised the need to protect and strengthen their brand. August was engaged to create an online solution to enhance, automate and streamline their brand management process, in an effort to maintain brand consistency and help ensure only authorised imagery and brand resources are used, without the need for constant supervision.
A Solution for Internal and External Stakeholders
A key challenge of this project was developing a user-friendly, fool-proof solution, not only for internal personnel across all areas of this national organisation, but for access by external marketing and media agencies and suppliers.
Searching and Downloading Brand Assets Made Easy
August custom-built a detailed yet simple-to-use online asset management application, to ensure brand consistency and compliance across all internal and external stakeholders. The 'Brand Central' solution brings together everything required for approved users to create consistent communications for Origin Energy customers, people, investors and communities. It has been designed to enable easy searching and downloading of Origin Energy style guides, images and logos.
In addition August developed the strategy for roll-out across internal departments and external agencies.
