Overview
Sustainability Victoria has developed a unique software program, FirstRate5 to help builders, designers and architects design energy efficient homes. With recent software upgrades, and issues regarding training, troubleshooting and use of the software, Sustainability Victoria identified the need for a communications vehicle to maintain regular, meaningful and cost effective contact with its FirstRate5 users.
Effective communication made easy
To communicate directly with FirstRate5 users, August proposed a total e–newsletter solution comprising template design, programming, content development and delivery. It was decided a bimonthly frequency would be required to keeps users up to date with software changes, and developments, new training opportunities and troubleshooting issues.
Making the content relevant
In an effort to provide relevant and meaningful correspondence, the email content has been enhanced with the regular ‘Design Tip of the Month’, giving users practical tips to improve the software’s functionality. The creation of a standardised template enabled August to streamline the process and manage production costs.
